The quality of scientific and r&d activities performed at the Faculty of Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunications has been recognized and very highly evaluated by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
As a result of the evaluation of scientific and research and development activity, the Faculty was awarded the highest (outstanding) rank A+. This type of award is granted to units which are particularly distinguished by the quality of their research. Consequently, the highest category means for the Faculty of Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunications higher subsidies for scientific research.
The evaluation of scientific and research and development activities was conducted by the Committee for Evaluation of Scientific Units (KEJN) in 2019. Nearly 1,000 scientific units underwent a thorough evaluation, during which four basic criteria were taken into account: scientific and creative achievements, scientific potential, practical effects of scientific activity and other effects of scientific activity.
